Book of Faeries:Cover

The book is almost finished. I ended up doing a simpler cover than I intended to do at first. The title inside the tiny frame is, in fact, an ATC and can be changed.

I am acccepting suggestions for some fiber embellishments to the coils. I have never used fibers and I could only find some very much boring. If you have suggestion how to make some by myself, I would love to hear your ideas.
Now I know how the papers are called , the ones that go inside the covers. They are "endpapers". Thank you to the pesrson who wrote to me.

The Fat Altered book of Faeries(Cont)

This paper I did altering one of my oil paintings into a digital stamp. I glued it inside the front and back covers. I believe this parts of a book have a specail name but I really don't know how they are called in English. Someone,please enlighten me. This is still a work-in-progress. The front cover needs to me embellished . I have tried severals ideas but I think I am repeating myself after doing many altered card holder covers. I want something very original for this cover. Let's see what my muse will inspire me.

The Altered Fat Book of Fairies

think it is a fat book. Please correct me if I am wrong. After seeing a fat book on the Altered Books Yahoo group I realized my book was fat.Well, this is what I consider a really altered book even though it would be tip-ins and was finished as an entirely new book. Long story! The reason I say it is truly an altered book is that I didn't work with any of my previous paintings . I used much material from magazines, altering the images with paint, muuuuuuch glitter, the krylon gold leaf pen, many trinkets and jewelry my friend Beth gave to me. The initial plan was to use only magazine stuff and Beth's jewelry but I ended using some fairy cards and some beautiful paper that reminds me of fabric. I used it to decoupage the cover and the niche.

The Altered Fairies Book

I created this niche for my newest altered book Fairies. It would be kind of a tip -in book but I ended doing a whole new book. The niche was done using what Americans call fun foam and we Brazilian know as EVA. The stuff is really nice to use. I glued 4 sheets of it, cut the niche, what was very easy to do and covered the whole page with paper. I could have painted it, too. I made the little fairy with a doll from a keyholder, the wings are cellophane paper.
I intend to post the whole book here in the next days.

The sorcerer ATC aCEO Art card

This Art Card depicts a sorcerer with a crystal ball. The background is an astrological chart. The ball is a true Brazilian crystal stone and there are some more on the card.

New altered book cover album

I call it " The sorcerer" It is altered book/photo album/card holder. As usual I used aged lace and ribbons, cold porcelain embellishments, metal findings and crystals. The ATC has an image of "The sorcerer" by Waterhouse on a background from the Art-E-Zine.

Book cover and box

The book has its own box. I decoupaged, sponged with gold ink, coated several times with acrylic varnish and embellished with a cold porcelain cabochon. It is decoupaged with flowers and, of course, a Siamese cat.
