Paper bag book instructions

Take 8 paper bags.
Cut them into square shapes, cutting front and back
Get 8 sheets of patterned paper. You can use any kind of paper as gift wrap, printed pages from computer, decoupage, scrapbook paper or even pretty pages from magazines.
Glue the paper to the squares of paper bags.
Make interesting shaped pockets with the same or different paper. Glue them to front and back of every page of the paper bag book. Let it dry completely. I use white glue so I let it dry about 12 hours.
Now you have to bind the book. Put a fine line of glue on the back of the last paper bag in the place where you will form the "spine". Then you glue all the paper bags one onto another till you have the one that will be the cover. You can embellish it as you like.
Now draw a one inch line from the spine with a pencil. This line will help you to fasten it with staples this part to make it solid bound. After doing it, cut a piece of construction paper, embellish it and glue it over the glued paper bags and staples. You can adorn it before gluing. I used two ribbons on the Valentines book and you can seem other models on this blog.
Now you can put whatever you wish inside the book like your collections o ATC/ACEO, love letter, precious photos, bits of journaling, tag art or even some cancelled check (God forbids us to have!)
